Sterling 2000 Stairlift

The Sterling 2000 Stair Lift is possibly the tightest fitting curved stairlift track on the market. It is designed to take up as little room as possible while remaining less obvious to the eye as well. The result of careful design research is a product that looks great in the home and serves a very valuable function.

Whether you have a staircase with a slight curve or a complete spiral staircase, the Seterling 2000 Series lift can be fitted to your home so that you never have to live with limited access to your own home. There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to roam your own home freely, and with this lift you never have to feel that frustration again.

The Sterling 2000 curved stairlift will be fitted to the exact curves and bends of your staircase and can be placed along the wall or along the outer banister side of the stairwell. This decision will be made largely based upon which way will leave more access room for others to use the stairs.

The Sterling curved stair lift chair is equipped with a swivel for safety purposes. Instead of stepping off on the side of the stairs you will be able to swivel away from the steps to ensure you get stable footing and are not in danger of falling backward down the steps as you get up.

The system comes with two remote controls, which allow multiple users to call and send the chair up and down even when no one is sitting in it. This is helpful not only for households where more than one person will be using the chair but for completing household chores where laundry and other items may need to be passed to another floor of the home.

One extra safety feature are the hinged rails which fold up out of the bottom floor so they do not block doorways or common walkways while the chair is not in use. The problem with people tripping over a hanging rail is a big problem with stairlifts, but it is now solved with these innovated hinged rails.

The Sterling 2000 Stair Lift is most beneficial for its ability to hug the wall and look nice while being designed specifically to every curve and twist in your staircase. It is one of the most compact curved models currently on the market.
